Editorial Note: In French, fooding takes the masculine article: le fooding. Etymological Note: The term is usually said to be a combination of English food and feeling. According to French newspaper articles and the site Le Fooding, run by Alexandre Cammas, the term was coined by Cammas January 1999 at the offices of the French magazine Nova.
